Research on baton handover problem in TD-SCDMA system

Abstract

A new kind of handover technique-baton handover is adapted in third generation mobile communication system TD-SCDMA.This paper introduced its general concepts,handover procedure and handover algorithm and compared its performance with hard handover and soft handover technique.The analysis indicated that baton handover enhanced the system performance in the whole.
