The Study on Index System of Regional Sustainable Development

Starting from the whole regional system,the paper proposes the ways of analyzing and studying the structure of regional system in Sichuan province and the characters of economic,social,resource and environment factors.The corresponding relationship between the goal of sustainable development and essential factors of the regional system is also probed into.According to the theories of sustainable development and systematic engineering,quantitative index of regional sustainable development are designed and selected in the light of relative principles.After the analysis of their correlation with the overall objective,the index system of sustainable development in Sichuan province is set up finally.The method of the indicator system of sustainable development is universal and oriented,and has practical value,which can be applied and used for reference.
