Abstract

Theory of truth is an old and new philosophical issue.As an initiator of modern logic,Frege pursued truth in an absolutely unique way.From the view of language analysis,he used logically analytic method to conclude that truth was a basic concept,which could not be defined,and that truth had close association with sentences.He attributed truth to the truth of sentences and explained what sentences and truth were.Truth was existent in claimed sentences.The sense of sentences was the thought and the meaning of sentences was the value of truth.
