Abstract
Objective To explore the biological function of miR-181c, and observe the effects of miR-181c on cell proliferation and apoptosis of human brain glioma cells. Methods MiR-181c was synthesized and transfected into the U251 malignant glioma cells by liposome. Cell viability was assessed by cck-8 assay. Cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. Results MiR-181c inhibited U251 cell proliferation in a dose dependent manner, while the control group had no obvious effect on cell growth.Conclusions The chemically synthesized miR-181c plays an important role in cell proliferation and apoptosis of human brain glioma cells, which may be a promising target for glioma gene therapy.
