Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents in the roots of Ilex asprella.Methods The chemical constituents were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel,RP silica gel,and so on.The structures were identified by spectral data and chemical methods.Results Twelve compounds were isolated and identified as uvaol aceta(1),β-sitosterol(2),clerosterol(3),28-nor-19βH,20αH-ursa-12,17-dien-3-ol(4),randialic acid B(5),19-dehydrouraolic acid(6),ursolic acid(7),pomolic acid(8),3-O-β-Dxylopyranosyl-3β-O-28-nor-12,17(18)-dien ursane(9),β-daucosterol(10),ilexoside B(11),and clerosterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside(12).Conclusion Compound 9 is a new compound named ilexasprellanoside H.Compounds 1,2,4,7,8,and 10 are obtained from this plant for the first time.
