Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of dexmedetomidine in the prevention of agitation after child sevoflurane inhalation general anesthesia.Methods 56children patients of general anesthesia in our hospital from May 2010to January 2013were selected and divided into the research group and the control group according to the random number table,28cases in each group.The research group was intravenously injected by dexmedetomidine at 30min before the end of operation,while the control group by the same dose of normal saline.Results The awakening time had no statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05);the agitation degree in the research group was less than that in the control group with statistical difference between them(P0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine applied to child evoflurane general anesthesia can effectively relieve postoperative restlessnes,has better clinical curative effect and is worthy of further application.
