Ironic Theory of Polyphonic Novel:Commenting Milan Kundera's Polyphonic Novel

Polyphony,originally a musical term,was introduced into the literature and arts by Bakhtin in the early 20th century.Then for the development and practice by Milan Kundera,it developed into a polyphony theory.Compared with Bakhtin's theory of polyphony,the modern polyphony was more formal made by the novel writing under the influence of the modern theory,and this kind of polyphony which is more formalized remains in the text level in Kundera's works and has more ironical meanings in the deep-seated level.
