Abstract
The newly revised Criminal Procedure Law establishes the witness compulsory attendance system in dispute cases.This thesis analyses the status quo and causes of the low attendance of witnesses and difficulty of testifying in judicial practice.The thesis explores for the reform of criminal procedural law regarding the system of witness appearance in court.It also analyses several problems in the newly revised Criminal Procedure Law,and come up with some views about implementing this system during prosecutorial practice.
