Abstract
This paper uses the Malmquist index to measure and decompose TFP of each industry based on the panel data of China's high-tech industries during the period of 1995 to 2008.Considering FDI,technology imports, capital intensity, firm size and ownership structure,it makes an empirical study on the effects of RD Investment and RD manpower input to TFP,technological progress and technical efficiency. The results show that RD Investment has a positive effect on both and RD manpower input has a positive effect on TFP and technological progress. However RD manpower input has negative correlation with technical efficiency.
