Abstract
The most internationally popular contingent valuation method is used to assess the willingness of payment for ecosystem service restoration of residents along the river. The upstream of Yellow River is taken as an example to carry out verification and analysis. It is concluded that the highest payment price of residents is 26.4 Yuan. The result indicates that the model has narrow confidence interval and better fitting effect.Furthermore, its valuation is quite precise and reliable. So it is appropriate to assess the willingness of payment for ecosystem service restoration of residents along the river.
