Contingent Valuation of the Economic Benefits of Forest Ecosystem Services of the Upper Reaches of Minjiang River

As for the situation of forest ecosystem services in the upper reaches of Minjiang River,the contingent valuation method adopted,374 questionnaire in the form of payment card designed,the residents'willingness to pay for forest ecosystem services(WTP)in the upper reaches of Mingjiang River basin was investigated.The results indicate 60.8% of the residents have willingness to pay,the average amount of which is 44 per capital per year.To count according to the current amount of households in the area,the value of forest ecosystem services in the upper reaches is 5507.48×104yuan per year.Based on the binary Logistic model,the paper made a sound analysis on the individual's willingness to fork out and his social economic variables,and thus,at the angle of environmental economics,drove home the main factors that influence people's willingness to fork out.
