Study of SOD expression in stomach cancer, gastric atypical hyperplasia, chronic gastritis patients with Hp

Objective In order to study the effects of SOD on Helicobacter pylori(Hp) positive patients with gastric cancer gastric atypical hyperplasia and chronic gastritis.Methods 135 patients were divided into gastric cancer, group, atypical hyperplasia group and chronic gastritis group. Totaly 61 patient were detected Hp positive. We measured the SOD positive cell selection rate and the positive reaction intensity in each group by ABC method. Results In each group, the SOD positive cell selection rate and positive reaction intensity in Hp positive patients have on significant difference with Hp negative patients(P0.05). In 61 Hp positive patients, cach group had significant differences campared with other group(P0.05). Conclusions The SOD expression in gastric cancer, gastric atypical hyperplasia and chronic gastritis have no relation with Hp infection. It is useful to monitoring the SOD changes of gastric mucosa for early diagnosis of gastric cancer.
