Abstract
The main progress in recent research on structural seismic theory is reported, and some key problems are discussed in this paper. The problems include: 1) Objective of seismic design and strategy of seismic optimization design; 2) Standards of seismic design; 3) Calculating method of earthquake effect; and 4) Earthquake damage mechanism of reinforced concrete structure.
