Abstract

The tourism highway construction plays an important role in boosting regional economy.The landscape planning and design have a great impact on enhancing the tourism highway quality.Starting from the nature and landscape characteristics of the tourism highway,principles,contents and methods of landscape planning and design for tourism highways are discussed systematically.Meanwhile,a new concept for the planning and designing of tourism highways is proposed,which shows the direction of landscape construction for tourism highways.
