The Formative Framework of Contemporary Chinese Poeticsin "the Era of Verse Anthologization"

In a contemporary era when attention is paid to anthologizing poems,the crux of modern verse lies in how to accomplish formative framework for modern Chinese poetics. In her compilation of future poems and her studies on contemporary verse,Li Yunxia attempts to establish some verse criterion so as to locate a contemporary indicator for modern Chinese verse in a boisterous era. In her three-volume Selected Future Poems,she starts with reconstructing and clarifying history of non-mainstream verse through substantive historical data and proceeds with probing into poetic value of non-mainstream verse,which demonstrates her extensive cultural vision in poetic studies as well as her unique style of compilation. Moreover,Li Yunxia has,through her verse compilation,presented the culture of youth and personal craftsmanship as key indicators in formative framework of contemporary Chinese poetics and has participated in construction of contemporary culture.
