Abstract
The conventional barrel plating technology that is often used for plating on samll parts has some intrinsic disadvantages, such as: quicker increase in temperature of plating bath, less allowed current density, stronger collision between parts, and not suitable for processing fragile parts, etc. In this paper, the characteristics, the application, and the development of vibration electroplating technology are introduced. Then, the structure characteristics of and the applicable electroplating technologies and variety of parts for various types of vibration electroplating equipments are listed. Concerning the recent electroplating equipment real condition in our country, the future development of vibration electroplating technique is indicated.
