Abstract
Objective To isolate and structurally elucidate the water-soluble and ethanol-soluble constituents of P.petiolosa.Methods 6 compounds(1~6) were isolated from the ethanol-soluble extract and 4 compounds(7~10) were isolated from water-soluble extract by column chromatography and PTLC.Their structures were identified by physico-chemical analyses and spectral methods. Results Ten compounds were yielded and elucidated as α-tocopherol(1),diploptene(2),24-methylene-9,19-cyclolanost-3β-yl acetate(3) cycloeucalenol(4),β-sitosterol(5),daucosterol,(6)vanillic acid(7),protocatechualdehude(8),hydrocaffeic acid(9),caffeic acid(10).Conclusions Compounds 1,3,4,7~10 are isolated from this plant for the first time.Compound 1,3,4 and 9 are obtained from the genus Pyrrosia for the first time.
