Abstract
Yihui 3003,developed from the cross with 5279S as the female and a selected plant from the progeny of NP35(purple rice)/R16 as the male,is a new fine quality restorer line in rice.It is characteristic of good plant type,strong restoring ability,high combining ability,good grain quality,heavy pollen load and high seed production yield.Among its hybrids,Yiyou 3003(Ⅱ-32A/Yihui 3003) was registered in Sichuan in 2004,and Yixiang 3003(Yixiang 1A/Yihui 3003) was registered nationwide and in Chongqing in 2004.
