Abstract
Rice restorer line Yihui 4106 was developed from the cross of Minghui 63/Shengyou 2 by the Rice Research Institute,Yibin Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Sichuan.It is characteristic of good plant type,stocky plants,strong restoring ability,good flowering habits,heavy pollen load and high yield in hybrid seed production,etc.Among its hybrids,Yixiang 4106(Yixiang 1A/Yihui 4106)performed both high yield and good grain quality and was examined and approved by the National Approval Committee of Crop Varieties in 2006.
