The application of task language teaching in business English teaching

Abstract

The goal of business English teaching is to develop students' communicative ability to use language in business situations. Task-based language teaching advocates learning by doing and emphasizes that students' linguistic ability should be improved in communication and cooperation. Therefore,the application of task-based language teaching helps to achieve the goal of business English teaching. This paper discusses with the practical examples the application of task-based language teaching to business English teaching according to the understanding of task-based language teaching.
