Abstract
Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of content and entrapment efficiency of paclitaxel in paclitaxel liposomes. Methods The analysis was performed on HYPERSIL C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase consisted of methanol:acetonitrile:water(40:35:25),and the detection wavelength was 227 nm.Results The linear range for paclitaxel was 1.0 ~200.0 μg/mL(r = 0.9996,n=7).The average recovery was 101.51% and RSD was 1.96%.Conclusion This method is simple, accurate, sensitive form easurement of content and entrapment efficiency of paclitaxel in the liposomes.
