Abstract

Task-based Language Teaching is an influential language teaching theory and teaching model developed in 1980s by the researchers of foreign language teaching and second language acquisition on the base of large amounts of research and practice. The essay, taking the classroom activity in teaching the textbook of Tapestry as an example, mainly expounds the three steps in the classroom activity of Task-based Language Teaching, which may throw light on the development of China's college English teaching.
