Abstract

Using aluminum oxide as immobile phase of column- chromatography, lycopene oleoresin was separated through three- step elution programe. Needle-like crystals can be gained from the concentrated eluting liquid,in which the mass percentage of lycopene is 90% by measurement of HPLC.Other ingredients separated from oleoresin were β-carotene and zeaxanthin.
