About the Artistic Characteristics of Yu Dafu's Novels

Abstract

Due to his frank and honest personality and his autobiographic viewpoint of novel writing, Yu Dafu's novels are media of his personal emotions. This paper analyzes the artistic charateristics of his novels in terms of the emotiveness of the themes, the autobiographic feature of contents, the frankness of the description and the prose style of plot development.
