The Direct Expression of Emotions --Critics and analysis on the arts and thoughts of Yu Dafu′s early novels

In contemporary literature history, Yu Dafu is a writer flying his own colors. His works have obvious writing characteristics and unique artistic style: the tendency of anti-feudalism and anti imperialism intermingling with sentimental feelings in its content, its unfair cry for the miserable situations of the weak being oppressed and hurt, self narrate expression form bearing heavy subjectivism. All these earn his novels lots of readers and makes an impact on the development of the new literature after May Forth Movement.
