Abstract

Western economists prove that investment on human capital is an important factor to keep economic growth by empirical studies. More and more attention is paid to the investment of human capital. Based on the model of production function, this paper researches empirically the relation between human capital and economic growth and calculates the effect of human capital and physical capital in economic growth. The results show that the effect of the investment of human capital on economic growth is less than the investment of physical capital in Fujian Province, which shows that the model of economic growth in Fujian is still extensive and needs large investment of physical capital.
