Empirical Analysis on the Role of Human Capital Investment in Economic Development in China

Abstract

By applying econometric method, the author analyzes the effectiveness of human capital investment in economic growth. The empirical analysis shows that investment in elementary human capital has remarkable effect on economic growth, investment in medium human capital has obvious engine effect, and investment in higher human capital has insufficient influence on economic growth.
