38 cases of PICC complications in cancer patients and nursing

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the peripheral vein central venous catheter(PICC) complication causes and the appropriate care measures.Methods Analysis of 38 cases have PICC catheter complications in patients after detailed observation data,identify the causes of complications and appropriate care.Results All of 38 cases patients with PICC catheter complications were mechanical phlebitis,catheter-related infection,catheter blockage,puncture site bleeding,catheter extrusion,catheter ectopic,were cured by the appropriate after care.Conclusion Indwelling PICC most common complication during the evidence-based,joint attention by both doctors and patients and nursing staff's positive intervention can significantly reduce the incidence of and reduce the extent of the damage.
