Abstract

Zhu Xi's moral theory,knowing the truth,exterminating the desire,implies special connotation.The desire refers to man's selfishness and greed.This theory,made use by the later feudal rulers,affects the Chinese society as well as ideology greatly.From historical perspective,this theory is analyzed to reveal bother negative and positive significance in order to present reference for socialistic civilization.
