Philosophy Cognition about Natural Value by Rolston

Rolston abandons the instrumentalism and the subjectism natural values in the traditional significance,and divides the natural value into three big categories as the tool value,the intrinsic value and the system value;He broke through traditional view about the human is all measure of value,and believed that the natural value is source of value;He has surmounted the one-sided understanding about the human is the world control since the modern industry civilization,proposed that the humanity should follow the nature.Essence of Rolston's thought of natural value is to expand the object of intrinsic value from the human to the nature,thus to seek for the valid basis for the humanity to protect the nature.
