Drama's Influence on the Reform of Modern Shaoxing Opera

Abstract
The paper explores the signs,process and motivation of the influence of drama over the reform of modern Shaoxing Opera based on study of historic literature.The influence is mainly represented in drama people into Shaoxing Opera circle,shaping of the director system,modern Shaoxing opera performances and stage of modern scenes.This drama tendency is a result of a gradual reform promoted by drama's awareness of standard.It can be concluded that the drama tendency helps shape the modern characteristics of Shaoxing Opera,which in turn finds its own identity in building and improving theses characteristics.
