Sign Without Soul:Loss of Traditional Chinese Opera from the Perspective of Shaoxing Opera

The rapid development of movies and television networks as new media has made powerful impact on world dramas,particularly the traditional Chinese operas.Among the factors affecting the survival and development of traditional Chinese opera,literary becomes an important one.In all literature factors,poetry mood in opera has become the core issues of opera's implication and lyric.This paper attempts to discuss the important role which the inheritance and development of poetry tradition play in the survival and development of the opera under the wide field vision of drama.
