A Probe into the Essence of Tourism Based on the Theory of Human Science and Systematology

The essence of tourism is one of the most important propositions in tourism research.Based on a literature review of domestic and overseas research on the essence of tourism,this paper makes an analysis of the essence of tourism with hominological view of human essence and the principle of self-organizing and self-optimizing principles of systematology.It proposed that tourism is an experience of self-perfection and a self-development activity with the aim of seeking estheticism and the joviality of both body and spirit.
