The efficacy of Repaglinide and Metformin treatment 2 type diabetes

Objective To observe Repaglinide combined with Metformin in treatment of type 2 diabetes.Methods All of 80 diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes were randomized to the combination group and control group of 40 patients,and the control group received metformin therapy,the combination group at the same time combined with repaglinide treatment,the efficacy and fasting plasma glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose changes were compared by application of statistical methods.Results The efficacy of the combination group was significantly better than the control group,the difference was significant(P 0.05).After treatment 6 weeks,the level of FBG,2 hPG of combination group and control group was significantly lower than those before treatment,and reduce the level of the observation group was more significantly than in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Repaglinide and Metformin is more effective for treatment type 2 diabetes,and is superior to the efficacy of metformin alone.
