Abstract

Objective To investigate effect of the treatment of unstable angina with finofibrate and the change of serum uric acid(SUA). Methods Eighty patients were divided into treatment group(Group T: routine treatment + finofibrate)and control group( Group C:routine treatment) at random. To compare the differences of symptom,ECG and SUA prior to and 8 weeks after treatment. Results With regard to fits of angeina the times are 1.4±1.5 and 3.7±3.2 in Group T and Group C respectively. The amount of nitroglycerin daily is 0.3±0.2 and 0.9±0.4 in Group T and Group C respectively( P0.05).In terms of symptom and ECG effectively power is 95% (Group T) vs.80% (Group C)and 67.5% (Group T) vs.42.5% (Group C) respectively(P0.05).SUA decreases 299.5±45.8μml/L(P0.05 ) in Group T and there is no significant change in Group C.Conclusion Finofibrate can decrease SUA,relieve symptom and improve ECG of patient with unstable angina.
