Analysis of economic and trade structure across the Taiwan Straits

Due to the factors of policy and market,there is imbalance in the economic and trade structure and industrial investment cooperation structure across the Taiwan Straits while Taiwan owns long-term surplus. According to the current status analysis,the causes have been discovered and the countermeasures for optimization are proposed as follows.( 1) Promote the cooperation between nongovernmental organizations and government,and give full play to the leading role of government.( 2) Promote the resources integration between two sides of the Straits and increase the proportion of trade in newly-developed industries across the Straits.( 3)Make full use of the comparative advantages,and optimize and upgrade the industry division structure on two sides,so as to enlarge the role of trade in upgrade and transformation of industry structure on two sides of the Taiwan Straits.
