Abstract
Concentration of Cu,Pb,Zn and Cd in irrigation water, soil and vegetable was determined to evaluate heavy metal pollution in vegetable plantation of Guilin City,Guangxi Province. It was found that irrigation water quality met class III of irrigation water quality standard, and heavy metal concentration in soil was higher than background value, but satisfying national standard.Heavy metal content in vegetable met safety requirement for non-pollution vegetable as well. Results showed that the vegetable plantation is not polluted by heavy metals, and eligible for growing non-pollution vegetables.
