Abstract
Ancient villages are the most Ecological memories of Chinese Ancient culture, whose main characteristics are antique style and local colors. Yet in the tourism development of the ancient villages, problems like the imbalance of culture and ecology exist. This paper analyzes the cultural ecology of Hougou Village by using the theory of cultural and ecological tourism and suggests that in the development of ancient village tourism, cultural ecology be taken into account, and scientific planning and protective development be focused; the author emphasizes that the ecological originality must be protected and the presentation, institutionalization and conceptualization should be activated and adopted to conduct the further development of Chinese traditional ancient village tourism.
