Control study of Ziprasidone and Perphenazine in the treatment of schizophrenia

Abstract

Objective:To compare the efficacy and side effects of Ziprasidone and Perphenazine in the treatment of schizophrenia.Methods:100 cases of patients with schizophrenia were randomiy divided into two group,treatment 8 weeks.The curative effect and adverse reactions were assessed with PANSS and TESS.Results:Ziprasidone group and Perphenazine group effective rate was 70%,68%,there were no significant differences between two groups(P﹥0.05).Conclusion:The overall efficacy of Ziprasidone is superior to Perphenazine,especially for the negative symptom.
