Abstract
Interspecific association between the dominant species of halophytic vegetation on Tumochuan Plain were analyzed by using X2-test and association indices. The results indicated that: the overall interspecific association of halophytic vegetation on Tumochuan Plain showed inapparent positive association. 58 species-pairs had positive association coefficient and 132 species-pairs had negative association coefficient by X2-test. It could be deduced that the community was instable, because the species-pairs of negative association was more than the species-pairs of positive association. The dominant species were divided into 5 ecological species groups by using the constellation diagram of interspecific association. The species in the same ecological groups had the same way of utilizing resources.
