Studies on the Interspecific Association of Haloxylon Ammodendron Community in Mosowan District

By means of χ~2-test with 2×2 contingency,we have studied the interspecific association on 15 species in Haloxylon Ammodendron community in Mosowan District.The results showed:The 15 species were overall negatively associated when the quadrats sizes changed from 1×2m~2 to 4×8m~2.With enlarging the area of the quadrats size,the overall associations of all species were not significant.It was positively associated.until the quadrats sizes reach 32×32m~2.There were 105 species pairs formed by 15 species in 300 quadrats among which 49 species pairs showed significant interspecific association,accounting for 46.7% of total species pairs.27 species-pairs were the greatly positive association;19 species-pairs were the significantly negative connection.The interspecific association in the community showed on the basis of the association coefficient and the minimal association area in the community.The minimal association area was so small and the interspecific association was so bigger that the interspecific association was stronger.
