Abstract

Objective:To investigate the significance of the detection of seminal fructose and neutral-glucosidase in the diagnosis of oligospermia/azoospermia.Methods:Seminal fructose and netral-glucosidase of 192 patients with oligospermia/azoospermia were quantitatively detected.Combined with history, physical examination, semen routine,trans-rectal ultrasonography and testicular biopsy, the causes of oligospermia/azoospermia were analyzed.36 cases of semen from men whose spouses were pregnant at the same time were tested as control group. Results:In 132 cases of oligospermia,27 cases were caused by obstruction of vas deferens,in 60 cases of azoospermia,39 cases were caused by obstruction of vas deferens. Conclusion:Biochemical detection of seminal fructose and neutral-glucosidase has the advantages of non-invasion and rapidness for the diagnosis of the patients with oligospermia/azoospermia caused by obstruction of vas deferens, and is beneficial to find the cause and guide treatment.
