The persistent belief and the affirmation in the present life constitute the core of Wang Meng's literary thought, which is conveyed in his essays in a unique manner. In his essays, Wang Meng manages to harmoniously express the elegance and popularity of his literary thought by way of his special humor and satire, and readers can sense his rationality and love and hatred amid laughter.
