Abstract
Based on some type of gearbox,gearbox housing modal analysis and measurement were carried out. The correctness of experiment mode shape of gearbox housing was proved by parameters of MPC( Modal Phase Criterion) and MPD( Mean Phase Deflection). The validity of the simulation modal of gearbox shell was analyzed through simulating the model frequency error of modal and experimental modal,distributing the linear correlation and analyzing modal correlationsis. In order to prevent shell resonance happening,and considering the mode shape identification results,an optimization technical measure of gearbox housing was presented and verified based on the FEM simulation model.
