Abstract
The dam of Donghe Reservoir is a roller compacted concrete double-curvature arch dam with the maximum height of 65.5 m.The method of 3 upper holes + 2 bottom outlets is used for flood discharge.Through the integral hydraulic model with scale of 1∶50,the layout of energy dissipation of flood discharge for its upper holes is tested and studied in optimization of its form, and the pattern combining the differential bucket with the chamfered cylinder bucket is put forward, thereby to make the discharged water flow spreading fully in longitudinal and transverse direction,in order to increase the falling water area to the utmost extent, reduce the scouring by using the water in lower reach for energy dissipation and solve the problems of energy dissipation and erosion control of the project.
