Abstract

Through using Visual Basic to call SolidWorks’ API,the problem of failure or imprecision for part modeling is solved,which always appears in the application of SolidWorks’ API.Taking the deep groove ball bearing as a sample,the research discusses how to achieve precision modeling of parts and how to establish assembly fitting,and illuminates developing method of the application program and it’s combination with SolidWorks.This research has values for reference in modeling practice.
