Abstract
Objective To investigate the main manifestations and causes of anxiety in patients undergoing elective percutaneous coronary intervention, and to analyze the impact of nursing intervention on anxiety and its significance. Methods A total of 400patients undergoing elective percutaneous coronary intervention were randomly given routine nursing care alone(control group,n=200)or in combination with positive nursing intervention(observation group,n=200).Questionnaire survey was performed and SAS scores were recorded before and after nursing intervention. Results The surgery, anesthesia, prognosis, lack of awareness of disease, medical costs and hospital environment were the main factors causing anxiety.SAS scores significantly reduced in both groups after nursing intervention(P0.01).Compared with control group,SAS scores obviously decreased in observation group(42.08±3.83vs 47.48±4.23,P0.01).Conclusion Patients undergoing elective percutaneous coronary intervention have different degrees of anxiety.Targeted nursing intervention can significantly alleviate the anxiety.
