Effect of Nursing Intervention on Anxious Emotion of Senile Patients with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on anxious emotion of senile patients before percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods 202 senile patients with PCI were randomly divided into control group(100 cases)and observation group(102 cases).Patients in control group received routine treatment,patients in observation group were given knowledge explanation、psychology communication、preoperative preparation and behavior exercitation.Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)was used for questionary.Results The two groups' SAS scores before operation were significantly higher than national norm(P0.01).The two groups' SAS scores have no difference at the day informed operation(P0.05),but the observation group were significantly lower than the control group at the day of operation(P0.01).Conclusion Nursing intervention could relieve anxiety before PCI for the senile patients.
