Abstract

Most philosophers discussed relationship between philosophy of science and history of science began with history of science,and they focused their attention on the significance of history of science on philosophy of science.This paper tries to discuss the significance of philosophy of science on history of science begin with philosophy of science.Logic empiricism gave the understructure of dynamic research about history of science based on structural analysis on knowledge.Historicism put forward developmental unit of scientific activity and scientific achievement,focused their attention on relationship among theories and advocated the union of history of science and philosophy of science.The study on science rationality provided paradigmatic analysis about history of science.
