Abstract
The effects of different nitrogen application rates on the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco CB-1 were studied in this paper. The results were as follows: yield, output value, average price and ratio of high quality leaves all increased along with the increase of the amount of pure nitrogen application.Comprehensively considering the performance of economic traits and chemical components of tobacco in all treatments, applying 97.5 kg/hm2 pure nitrogen was the best treatment, because the chemical components in flue-cured tobacco leaves were more suitable and coordinative in this treatment, though the yield and output value of flue-cured tobacco in this treatment were slightly lower than those in the treatment that pure nitrogen application rate was 105 kg/hm2.
